I liked some stories others I heard but different cultures. Cool I guess. I would recommended it to some people
It's short, and not very detailed.
Not bad for a free read, but most certainly not worth paying for, sadly.
A must for Urban Legend fans who look on the really dark side.
I enjoyed most of the urban legends, wish there were more(particularly ones that are true)....but I think the explanations were based more on personal opinion than actual research. The book just seemed half done, looking into urban legends is serious business (takes lots of time and effort). and maybe this author needed more time before publishing this book. Unfortunately I was left wanting more.
This book had a very interesting take on several urban legends. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys urban legends.
I certainly recognized many of the urban legends listed in this book. It was interesting to read them, then some variances on them, as well as notes on their truthfulness and background on them. I would read more of Mark Barber's books, especially regarding this subject matter as I find it most fascinating.
Sorry, but nothing new in the book. The stories farewell told and would hold the interest of one who has not heard them several times before. I would be interested in this author writing another book with less well known storirs.
